• Mission: This person is responsible for consistently maintaining an impeccably clean, organized, and welcoming environment throughout all shared spaces and resident apartments within the luxury 55+ active living community, directly enhancing the resident and guest experience.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Property Upkeep: Systematically clean and maintain all designated areas, including resident apartments, common areas, administrative offices, and public restrooms, ensuring a consistently high standard of hygiene and presentation.
• Detailed Cleaning: Execute a comprehensive range of cleaning tasks such as sweeping, mopping floors, vacuuming carpets, dusting surfaces, and sanitizing high-touch points to prevent germ transmission and maintain a spotless appearance.
• Inventory Management: Oversee the organization and tidiness of all supply closets, diligently monitoring inventory levels and promptly reporting any items that are running low to ensure continuous availability of necessary cleaning supplies.
• Safety and Maintenance Reporting: Actively observe and identify any potential maintenance issues or safety hazards while performing duties, and proactively alert the maintenance department to ensure timely resolution and a safe environment for all.
• Schedule Adherence & Standards: Consistently follow a daily cleaning schedule and rigorously uphold established cleanliness standards across the entire property, contributing to the overall beauty and comfort of the RISE Viera community.
• Community Contribution: Foster and contribute to a welcoming, respectful, and highly professional atmosphere for all 55+ residents, guests, and fellow staff members, embodying the community’s values.

The Must-Haves
• Background: No specific educational degree is mandated for this role; a fundamental understanding of effective cleaning practices and property maintenance is beneficial.
• Experience: Prior experience working in a professional housekeeping, janitorial, or custodial capacity is strongly preferred, demonstrating familiarity with relevant cleaning techniques and protocols.
• Skills:
• Exceptional attention to detail, with a strong commitment to performing tasks thoroughly and correctly the first time.
• Proven reliability, consistent punctuality, and the ability to work productively and efficiently both independently and as part of a team.
