This is an early career position at Bern’s Steak House, located in Tampa, FL. This role is fundamental to preserving the pristine condition, organization, and accessibility of our esteemed wine cellar and warehouse, directly upholding our commitment to an unparalleled guest experience and operational excellence.

• Location: In-person, Tampa, FL
• Team: Under the guidance of four Sommeliers, alongside a team of approximately a dozen other wine cellar stewards.
• Mission: To meticulously maintain the warehouse and wine cellar, ensuring organization, cleanliness, and accessibility of the extensive wine collection.
What You’ll Actually Do
• Maintain Cellar Integrity: Meticulously clean, organize, and sort both the wine cellar and warehouse.
• Inventory Management: Accurately locate and restock specific wine bottles daily, which requires climbing ladders.
• Guest Engagement: Conduct informative tours of the wine cellar.
• Service Preparation: Polish all glassware to exceptionally high standards.
• Operational Support: Maintain a clean and organized workstation throughout the entire shift.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career; no prior experience is required for this role.
• Experience: Ability to lift 25+ pounds consistently and availability to work nights, weekends, and holidays for a PM shift (4 PM – Midnight).
• Skills: Strong attention to detail, adherence to all sanitation policies and cleanliness standards, excellent teamwork and communication skills, ability to work quickly, safely, and effectively, and capability to multitask efficiently.
• Bonus: An ideal position for individuals studying for Level Sommelier certification, offering daily opportunities to taste wines and receive education from tenured staff.
