The Tone:
This is an in-person role at Rooms To Go, a leading and rapidly expanding furniture retailer across ten southern states. As a Retail Office Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting the daily operations of our retail stores, which are central to our growth and customer experience. This position is essential for ensuring a seamless experience for our customers and sales associates, contributing directly to the efficiency and success of the store environment.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Payment Processing: Efficiently process customer payments and accurately manage finance applications, supporting sales transactions.
• Customer Support: Address customer inquiries regarding deliveries and provide comprehensive assistance with various customer care needs.
• Communication Management: Answer incoming phone calls and effectively manage general office communications, maintaining clear information flow.
• Operational Assistance: Execute a range of other assigned office duties, ensuring the smooth and efficient day-to-day operations of the store.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma/GED or higher; Early Career.
• Experience: Over one year of relevant experience is preferred, demonstrating a foundation in office or retail support roles.
• Skills: Possess a courteous and patient demeanor with a strong customer service orientation; demonstrate proficiency in computer navigation, general computer knowledge, and understanding of MS Office applications; exhibit the ability to communicate effectively, both in written and verbal forms.
