Your Role and Responsibilities

As a key contributor, your responsibilities will include:

  • Solution Design & Execution: Collaborate closely with the Resident Solutions Architect (RSA) on the design and execution plans for implementing and integrating HashiCorp tool(s) within defined engagement scopes.
  • Technical Solution Implementation: Execute the technical customer solution plans meticulously designed by the RSA assigned to your customer accounts.
  • HashiCorp Enterprise Solutions: Lead the design, implementation, and ongoing management of HashiCorp enterprise solutions.
  • Third-Party Integrations: Assist in the design and configuration of seamless third-party integrations with HashiCorp enterprise solutions.
  • Documentation & Automation: Create essential support documentation, robust automation scripts, comprehensive runbooks, and other relevant collateral for HashiCorp enterprise solutions.
  • Software Maintenance: Aid in the application and execution of software patches and upgrades for HashiCorp enterprise solutions in non-production environments.
  • Integration Consulting: Consult with various application, platform, and operations teams, guiding them on effective integration strategies for their tools, applications, and services with HashiCorp tools.
  • Cloud Transformation Support: Execute specific tasks throughout our customers’ cloud transformation journeys, specifically relating to the HashiCorp product suite.
  • Automation Development: Build comprehensive automation for the deployment, management, and operation of one or more of our HashiCorp solutions.
  • Cloud Operating Model Alignment: Assist customers in aligning their people, processes, and workflows with the Cloud Operating Model.
  • Cloud Consumption Redefinition: Articulate and refine the cloud consumption model in relation to the HashiCorp Tao of workflows.
  • Developer Velocity & Governance: Directly impact developer velocity while simultaneously satisfying critical objectives related to governance, risk, and controls.
  • Business Value Communication: Effectively communicate the tangible business value of the HashiCorp product suite to customers.
  • Technical Functionality Articulation: Articulate the technical functionality of HashiCorp products and additional third-party integrations to practitioners, product owners, and managers.
  • Customer Education & Advisory: Educate and advise customer users on how HashiCorp tools can enable and simplify the adoption of the Cloud Operating Model as part of their cloud transformation journey.
  • Best Practices Mentorship: Educate individual contributors on best practices concerning system administration, service administration, automation, and observability.
  • Security & Compliance: Be subject to additional background checks and screening performed by the customer.

Required Technical and Professional Expertise

  • Operating Systems: Proven experience operating both Linux and Windows systems.
  • Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC): Basic understanding of the Software Development Lifecycle, CI/CD pipelines, and version control solutions.
  • Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Basic understanding of Infrastructure as Code principles and practices.
  • Cloud Service Providers: Exposure to and understanding of at least one public cloud service provider (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and their most common services.
  • Team Collaboration: The ability to work effectively and collaboratively in group environments.
  • Independent Work: The ability to work independently, taking initiative and executing tasks based on a provided roadmap.
  • Communication Skills: The ability to explain complex technical topics clearly and concisely in simple terms.
  • Security & Compliance: Familiarity with common security and compliance requirements.
