Venue Partnerships Intern | SpotHero
The Tone:
This is an internship at SpotHero, located in Chicago, IL (hybrid). SpotHero works as a team to empower people to get everywhere, easier, with a mission to bring the parking industry into the future through technology. This role supports the Venue Partnerships team in identifying and developing partnership opportunities with sports teams, arenas, and other entertainment venues. It offers an opportunity to gain hands-on experience in sports partnerships, venues, and business development within a tech marketplace.

• Mission: Support the Venue Partnerships team in identifying, developing, launching, and maintaining partnerships with sports and entertainment venues to expand SpotHero’s reach.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research: Research sports teams, venues, and entertainment partners that may be good partnership opportunities for SpotHero.
• Outreach: Assist the partnerships team with outreach to potential partners via email and other channels.
• Preparation: Help prepare basic research, materials, and background information for partnership discussions and pitches.
• Launch Support: Support the launch of new partnerships by helping organize marketing materials and promotional assets.
• Administrative Support: Assist with tracking partnership activity, reporting, and general administrative support for the partnerships team.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Sports Administration, Business, Statistics, Finance, or a related field.
• Experience: Strong interest in sports, entertainment venues, partnerships, or marketing; comfortable conducting research and organizing information.
• Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills; curious and eager to learn about sports partnerships, marketing, and business development; organized and detail-oriented with the ability to manage multiple tasks.
• Bonus: Basic familiarity with MS Office, Google Docs, or similar tools.
