Receptionist | Bausch + Lomb

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at Bausch + Lomb, located in Miami, FL. Bausch + Lomb is a leading global eye health company dedicated to protecting and enhancing sight for millions worldwide through a comprehensive portfolio of over 400 products. This highly visible, high-trust role serves as the first point of contact, providing administrative support and ensuring efficient front desk operations, creating a welcoming and professional experience for all. This position also manages key office services and plays a critical role in supporting the new Surgical Center for Excellence.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Type: Full-time, on-site position from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM
• Location: In-person, Miami, FL

• Mission: To deliver a welcoming and professional experience for visitors, colleagues, and leaders while ensuring seamless front-desk and office operations and owning key office and Surgical Center services.
• Tech Stack: Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Welcome and Direct: Serve as the primary point of contact for all visitors and colleagues, answering, screening, and directing incoming phone calls.
• Maintain Workplace Readiness: Ensure the reception area, common areas, and meeting spaces are consistently organized and ready for leaders, colleagues, and visitors.
• Support Executive & Meetings: Schedule and coordinate meetings, manage conference room bookings, and provide comprehensive logistics and administrative support for on-site and visiting leaders.
• Oversee Office Services: Manage incoming and outgoing mail, monitor and order office and kitchen supplies, coordinate vendors, and maintain security procedures including visitor logs and badge issuance.
• Coordinate Surgical Center: Own the scheduling, calendar coordination, room logistics, and ongoing operational support for the Surgical Center for Excellence.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A high school diploma or equivalent is required, with an associate or bachelor’s degree preferred. This role suits individuals with foundational experience in administrative or front-facing office environments.
• Experience: Candidates must have prior experience in a receptionist, front desk, office coordinator, or a similar administrative support role. Experience supporting executives and interacting with senior leaders and external visitors is a plus.
• Skills: Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook), excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong organizational abilities to manage multiple priorities, and a professional presence with discretion in handling sensitive information.
• Bonus: A strong customer service orientation, keen attention to detail and problem-solving skills, adaptability, eagerness to learn new responsibilities, and strong anticipation and follow-through to proactively resolve issues.
