The Tone:
This is an entry-level sales position at Company, dedicated to supporting the Do-It-Yourself (DIY) automotive business. This role is crucial for achieving sales and service objectives by providing excellent customer experiences. The Salesperson will ensure smooth store operations and help customers find the right parts and services for their needs. This position offers flexibility, as it can be either part-time or full-time.

• Mission: To support the DIY business and achieve sales and service objectives through direct customer interaction and operational support.
• Tech Stack: Store systems, delivery board system, inventory systems, POS (Point of Sale), parts lookup systems, testing and diagnostic equipment

What You’ll Actually Do
• Customer Experience: Provide an excellent selling experience for DIY customers during in-store visits and phone calls.
• Sales Performance: Achieve personal sales goals and contribute to the store’s overall sales objectives.
• DIY Services: Offer DIY services, including battery installation, testing, and wiper installations.
• Store Standards: Maintain store product and operational standards.
• Inventory Management: Execute inventory processes, which include truck put away, shoot-outs, cycle counts, and managing back stock.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Entry-level sales position with good knowledge of store systems, basic automotive systems, and fundamental part knowledge. In-depth knowledge of store inventory and maintenance processes is also required.
• Experience: 2-3 years of successful sales experience in a diverse retail environment, consistently providing superior customer experiences.
• Skills: Ability to speak and write English effectively, use basic math accurately, effectively communicate with customers and colleagues, and operate inventory, POS, and parts lookup systems proficiently.
• Bonus: Fleet safety certification and Spanish proficiency are preferred qualifications.
