UX Researcher | LiveRamp

The Tone:
This is a full-time role at LiveRamp, offering flexible and remote work options within the US. LiveRamp operates as a data collaboration platform, specializing in consumer privacy, data ethics, and foundational identity to help companies build connected customer views. As a UX Researcher, you will deliver actionable insights that influence product direction, enhance user experiences, and ensure user advocacy across the entire product lifecycle. Your work will enable global innovators to deepen customer engagement, activate new partnerships, and maximize their first-party data value while upholding privacy standards.

The TL;DR
• Role: Full Time
• Location: Flexible / Remote
• Pay: $77000–$111500 yearly
• Team: Small, high-impact UX Research team embedded in a larger design organization, collaborating with PMs, designers, and commercial teams.
• Mission: Deliver actionable insights throughout product discovery, ideation, and development to improve user experiences and drive business objectives.
• Tech Stack: Python, SQL, AI tools (NotebookLM, Gemini)

What You’ll Actually Do
• Research Execution: Conduct user research utilizing both quantitative (benchmarking, surveys, product analytics) and qualitative (usability studies, contextual inquiry, hypothesis testing) methods.
• Insight Delivery: Analyze and synthesize research findings to provide actionable insights for discovery, ideation, and development phases.
• Advocacy & Guidance: Champion user-centered methods and provide guidance to partners conducting their own research, ensuring quality and consistency.
• Strategy Development: Formulate research strategies that span the entire product lifecycle, from concept to launch, and for ongoing experience optimization.
• Impact Measurement: Collaborate with product and design teams to define and track key product metrics that measure user experience progress against business objectives.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Bachelor’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Cognitive Psychology, Computer Science, or a related field. This is a mid-career position.
• Experience: At least 2 years in UX research (or UX/product design with a strong research focus), including a proven track record of influencing product direction with customer insights. Must have an online case-study portfolio showcasing research artifacts, process, and impact.
• Skills: Proficiency in quantitative and qualitative research methods, base-level proficiency in data analytics languages like Python and SQL, strong communication, collaboration, and user advocacy.
• Bonus: Experience in enterprise SaaS or AdTech, familiarity with business intelligence or data visualization products, experience with telemetry and instrumentation data analysis, using AI tools (e.g., NotebookLM, Gemini) in research, or a Master’s degree in a related field.
