The Tone:
This is a internship at PMI, located in Owensboro, KY (Hybrid). What You’ll Actually Do
• Sustainability Data Assessment: Assess current sustainability measurement practices and identify data tracking gaps across designated U.S. sites (Owensboro, Aurora, Wilson).
• Measurement Protocol Definition: Define baseline processes to establish consistent and reliable measurement protocols for sustainability metrics.
• Data Standardization: Map, consolidate, and standardize data sources related to various sustainability aspects, including energy, water, waste, logistics, and Scope 3 emissions.
• Reporting Workflow Optimization: Document existing sustainability reporting workflows and propose scalable processes to reduce manual coordination and support future automation.
• Strategic Roadmap Development: Develop a comprehensive U.S. sustainability measurement roadmap and an executive-ready summary document containing key findings and strategic recommendations.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Students pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Sustainability, Environmental Studies, Supply Chain Management, or a related field during the 2025-2026 school year, who will return to their academic program after the completion of the internship.
• Experience: Proficiency in the MS-365 suite of products (e.g., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for interacting effectively with various stakeholders, ability to work both independently with minimal supervision and collaboratively as part of a team, legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship, fluent in English.
