The Tone:
This is a full-time, center-based role at Ally Behavior, located in Woodlawn, MD. Ally Behavior focuses on delivering high-quality early intervention Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) therapy to children with autism, specifically those aged 18 months to 6 years. As a Behavior Technician, you will provide direct, one-on-one therapy, which is crucial for helping young learners reach their potential to communicate, improve social skills, and prepare for academic success. What You’ll Actually Do
• Therapy Delivery: Provide individualized 1-on-1 Applied Behavior Analysis therapy to young learners in a center-based setting.
• Treatment Implementation: Execute BCBA-designed treatment plans tailored to each child’s specific needs.
• Data Collection: Monitor client progress by collecting and tracking data through Central Reach using an iPad.
• Progress Reporting & Support: Report client progress to the BCBA, assist with updating treatment goals, and support family training on plan implementation.
• Team Collaboration: Work closely with BCBAs, SLPs, and OTs, attend team meetings, and ensure open communication within the clinical team and with families.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Minimum of a high school diploma or equivalent is required. A bachelor’s degree in psychology, early childhood education, or a related field is preferred for this early career position, which focuses on developing foundational skills in Applied Behavior Analysis.
• Experience: Prior experience working with children is required; experience with children who have developmental delays or special needs is preferred. Must be available to work Monday through Friday from 8:30 am to 5:30 pm, and possess reliable transportation with a valid driver’s license.
• Skills: Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) Certification (or willingness to complete training within 90 days); Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification (or willingness to complete training prior to hire). Ability to build trust, maintain client confidentiality, and effectively communicate with families and the clinical team. Demonstrated patience, adaptability, and a calm demeanor in challenging situations. Strong multitasking, time management, and problem-solving abilities are essential.
