What You’ll Actually Do
• Teach English: Lead fun, interactive, and immersive English lessons for young learners aged 3–16 in a classroom setting.
• Deliver Curriculum: Implement English 1’s award-winning curriculum and utilize provided digital tools to deliver high-energy lessons effectively.
• Provide Feedback: Offer constructive feedback to students, guiding them to build confidence in their English comprehension and speaking skills.
• Engage in Activities: Actively participate in various school events, cultural activities, and student engagement programs organized by English 1.

The Must-Haves
• Background: A bachelor’s degree in any subject, suitable for globally minded individuals including recent graduates, those exploring a career change, or ESL/TEFL-certified teachers, who are seeking an entry-level position in international education.
• Experience: No prior teaching experience is required, as English 1 provides full comprehensive induction training, ongoing support, and ready-made teaching materials. A valid passport is essential for obtaining the sponsored legal Z work visa, and candidates must be able to pass a clean background check.
• Skills: A genuine interest in education, travel, and cultural exchange; the ability to deliver high-energy, immersive lessons using provided teaching resources; and the capacity to provide constructive feedback to help students build confidence in their English skills.
• Bonus: ESL certification such as TEFL, TESOL, or CELTA is a plus, though English 1 can sponsor eligible candidates for their TEFL certificate and offers further professional development through distance learning courses like Level 6 Trinity College CertPT and DELTM.
