What You’ll Actually Do
• Client Engagement: Engage in outside sales activities by proactively identifying potential clients and cultivating strong professional relationships through cold calling and direct outreach strategies.
• Territory Management: Assist in strategically managing sales territories by analyzing current market trends and developing targeted approaches to expand the existing customer base.
• Service Demonstrations: Conduct compelling service demonstrations to effectively showcase product features and benefits, identifying opportunities to upsell solutions that precisely meet client needs.
• Lead Generation Support: Support comprehensive lead generation efforts by diligently using CRM software to meticulously track prospective clients and manage all follow-up activities.
• Business Development: Collaborate with management on key business development initiatives, aiming to identify new market opportunities and continuously improve existing sales processes.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Early Career. Currently enrolled in or a recent graduate of a business, marketing, or a related academic program, possessing a strong, demonstrated interest in sales, marketing, or business management.
• Experience: No specific years of prior experience are required; however, candidates must show clear enthusiasm for outside sales, understanding B2B transactions, and knowledge of sales cycles.
• Skills: Excellent communication skills, including the ability to negotiate effectively and build strong rapport with diverse clients; familiarity with CRM software for tracking and management; strong analytical skills to interpret client conversations and guide them through appropriate sales paths; and the ability to efficiently handle multiple tasks while maintaining meticulous attention to detail.
• Bonus: Prior experience in areas such as retail sales, cold calling, or account management is considered a valuable asset.
