About the Role & Your Responsibilities:

As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in supporting our clients with their daily needs, ensuring a safe, comfortable, and dignified living environment. Your responsibilities will include:

• Assistance with Daily Living Activities: Providing sensitive and respectful support with personal care tasks such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting. You will also assist with meal planning, preparation, and feeding, ensuring clients receive nutritious and enjoyable meals tailored to their preferences and dietary needs.
• Companionship and Emotional Support: Engaging clients in meaningful conversations, activities, and hobbies. You will provide a reassuring presence, listen actively, and offer emotional encouragement, helping to alleviate loneliness and foster a positive, stimulating atmosphere.
• Health Monitoring and Reporting: Diligently observing and documenting changes in clients’ physical, mental, or emotional health. This includes monitoring vital signs (if trained), noting changes in appetite or mood, and reporting any significant observations or concerns promptly to supervisors, ensuring timely professional intervention when needed.
• Adherence to Care Plans and Safety Protocols: Meticulously following individualized care plans developed for each client, ensuring all specified needs are met consistently and professionally. You will also uphold strict safety protocols and procedures to prevent accidents, manage risks, and ensure the client’s well-being at all times.
• Maintaining a Clean and Safe Environment: Assisting with light housekeeping tasks such as tidying living areas, making beds, and doing light laundry. Your efforts will ensure the client’s home remains tidy, hygienic, and free of hazards to promote comfort, health, and safety.
