Role Description: Bartender

Key Responsibilities:
- Crafting Exceptional Drinks: Prepare and serve a wide array of alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, including classic cocktails, signature drinks, beer, wine, and spirits, adhering to established recipes and presentation standards.
- Delivering Superior Customer Service: Greet patrons warmly, engage with them in a friendly and professional manner, take orders accurately, and anticipate their needs to ensure an outstanding and personalized experience.
- Inventory Management: Assist with monitoring and managing bar inventory, including stocking spirits, mixers, garnishes, and supplies. Conduct periodic counts, place orders, and minimize waste to optimize profitability.
- Cash Handling: Process customer payments accurately, handle cash, credit card, and other transactions responsibly, and manage the till efficiently.
- Maintaining a Pristine Workspace: Ensure the bar area, glassware, and equipment are consistently clean, organized, and meet all health and safety regulations.
- Product Knowledge: Stay informed about our beverage menu, daily specials, and be able to confidently recommend drinks and answer customer inquiries about ingredients and preparation.
- Compliance and Safety: Adhere strictly to all food and beverage safety standards, responsible alcohol service guidelines, and local regulations.
- Team Collaboration: Work effectively with other bar staff, servers, and kitchen team members to ensure smooth service operations and a cohesive guest experience.
Qualifications:
- Proven Bartending Experience: Minimum of [X years, e.g., 2 years] of recent experience as a Bartender in a fast-paced bar, restaurant, or hospitality setting.
- Exceptional Customer Service & Communication Skills: A genuine passion for delivering outstanding guest experiences with the ability to build rapport, listen actively, and communicate clearly and courteously.
- Mixology Expertise: Strong knowledge of classic cocktail recipes, modern mixology trends, and a comprehensive understanding of various spirits, wines, and beers. Ability to create new and exciting drink combinations is a plus.
- Proficiency in Cash Handling: Demonstrated ability to manage cash registers, point-of-sale (POS) systems, and process financial transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Adaptability & Multitasking: Ability to thrive and remain calm under pressure in a high-volume, dynamic environment while juggling multiple tasks effectively.
- Attention to Detail: Meticulous about drink preparation, presentation, cleanliness, and accuracy in orders and transactions.
- Responsible Alcohol Service: Must be of legal age to serve alcohol in Florida and possess a strong commitment to responsible alcohol service practices and all applicable laws and regulations.
- Physical Stamina: Ability to stand for extended periods, lift up to 25-50 lbs, and move quickly and efficiently behind the bar.
- Team Player: A collaborative spirit and willingness to support colleagues to achieve collective goals.
