This is a permanent, onsite role for a Chemistry Lab Technician located in Columbus, OH. You will be joining a leading pharmaceutical company focused on the development and production of generic pharmaceutical products. What You’ll Actually Do
• Sample Preparation: Perform essential sample preparation tasks, including utilizing various wet chemistry techniques, precise standard weighing, and accurate dilutions, as foundational steps for analytical testing.
• Instrumental Analysis: Operate and expertly analyze samples using advanced analytical instrumentation, specifically High-Performance Liquid Chromatography (HPLC) and Gas Chromatography (GC), to gather critical data.
• Product Testing: Conduct comprehensive chemistry-focused testing on a diverse range of generic pharmaceutical products, which includes both Oral Dose Solids and Nasals, to verify their quality and specifications.
• Regulatory Documentation: Execute a variety of highly regulated documentation activities, diligently ensuring all laboratory work and results comply with stringent industry and regulatory standards.
• Laboratory Support: Perform other assigned duties to efficiently support broader laboratory operations, contributing to the overall productivity and compliance of the facility.
The Must-Haves
• Background: Hold a Bachelor’s degree in a science field, demonstrating strong academic coursework and practical experience specifically in chemistry principles and methodologies.
• Experience: Possess practical skills and a keen attention to detail necessary for performing chemistry-focused laboratory testing within a highly regulated pharmaceutical environment.
• Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in sample preparation, wet chemistry techniques, operation and analysis with HPLC and GC, and meticulous execution of regulated documentation.
