What You’ll Actually Do
• Relationship Building: Build and foster trust-based client relationships through proactive outreach, follow-up, and inquisitive questioning to understand financial needs and identify banking channel preferences.
• Needs Assessment & Solution Recommendation: Assess and address diverse banking needs by obtaining and processing customer and account information, then demonstrating and educating clients on deposit and loan products to recommend tailored solutions for both new and existing clients.
• Digital Education: Proactively educate clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services, fostering a “digital first” mindset to empower them to meet their financial needs.
• Account Management: Manage client accounts by opening new consumer and business accounts, completing service requests, and accurately submitting credit applications.
• Client Experience & Operational Excellence: Deliver a consistent and optimal client experience, greeting clients, efficiently processing basic transactions, and leveraging resources and technology for operational excellence and accuracy.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or equivalent, signifying foundational knowledge. This role requires National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration, including a criminal background and credit check, which must be maintained throughout employment.
• Experience: Typically five or more years of job-related, retail banking experience or equivalent training.
• Skills: Effective client engagement and communication; advanced knowledge of bank and branch policies, procedures, and support systems; thorough understanding of retail products and services; and proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: Proven ability to build and foster relationships through proactive outreach; experience in sales campaigns or promotions; ability to explore client needs with a “digital first” mindset; and prior experience in the financial services industry.
