Client Relationship Consultant | U.S. Bank

What You’ll Actually Do
• Relationship Building: Build and foster relationships with clients through proactive outreach, asking questions, and understanding their financial needs and banking channel preferences.
• Needs Identification: Identify and recommend solutions for new and existing clients based on their specific needs through effective engagement and communication.
• Digital Education: Proactively educate clients on emerging and self-service digital products and services to assist them in meeting their financial goals.
• Account Management: Open new consumer and business accounts, complete service requests, and accurately submit credit applications.
• Operational Excellence: Use available resources and technologies to optimize the client experience and serve clients with high operational excellence and accuracy.

The Must-Haves
• Background: High school diploma or equivalent, with a focus on retail banking or similar job-related fields.
• Experience: A minimum of one to two years of job-related experience in retail banking, or a combination of experience and commensurate training.
• Skills: National Mortgage Licensing System (NMLS) registration or the ability to obtain it; basic knowledge of consumer and business banking products and digital services; client relationship building; account opening and service processing; proven customer service and interpersonal skills.
• Bonus: Proven ability to build relationships through proactive outreach, experience using and demonstrating digital products and self-service technologies, and prior experience in the financial services industry.
