Supply Chain/Business Intern | ERCOT

The Tone:
This is a full-time internship at ERCOT, located in Taylor, TX. ERCOT invites individuals to join its dedicated workforce to develop solutions for today’s and tomorrow’s energy challenges. The TL;DR
• Role: Internship
• Type: Full-time (Summer 2026, from early June through mid-August)
• Location: In-person, Taylor, TX
• Pay: $23–$39 hourly
• Mission: To address real challenges in the electric industry through collaborative projects and assignments, particularly in procurement and supply chain functions.
• Tech Stack: SAP, Oracle, Workday (preferred), MS Excel

What You’ll Actually Do
• Collaborate with dedicated ERCOT teams on projects addressing challenges within the electric industry.
• Execute assigned tasks and projects focused on solving real problems facing the electric industry.
• Support functions related to procurement, vendor management, contract administration, supply chain, or logistics.
• Conduct data analysis and assist with administrative responsibilities.
• Present findings and demonstrate capabilities for evaluation by ERCOT leadership.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently pursuing an undergraduate (at least sophomore year) or graduate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems (MIS), or similar majors. Eligible candidates must be enrolled in an academic bachelor’s or post-graduate degree program and maintain a GPA of 3.0 or higher.
• Experience: Familiarity with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems such as SAP or Oracle.
• Skills: Proficiency in MS Excel; strong communication skills; an understanding of Supply Chain Risk Management; familiarity with Procurement and Supply Chain fundamentals.
• Bonus: Preference for Workday ERP experience; prior experience in data analysis or administrative roles; relevant coursework is highly valued; an interest in procurement, vendor management, contract administration, supply chain, or logistics.
