About the Job: Behavior Technician at Cortica
Cortica is actively seeking dedicated and compassionate Behavior Technicians to join our expanding team. Your Impact & Responsibilities:
- Provide Direct Services: Deliver 1:1 and group behavior-analytic services to children with autism and other neurodevelopmental differences.
- Implement Strategies: Effectively implement positive behavior strategies developed in collaboration with your BCBA.
- Utilize Evidence-Based Practices: Apply evidence-based practices to create meaningful and measurable progress for families.
- Document Data: Accurately document session data to track and support treatment goals.
- Collaborate Closely: Collaborate closely with families and supervisors to build supportive and consistent environments.
- Follow Crisis Protocols: Adhere to Cortica’s crisis protocols, including de-escalation techniques and mandated reporting procedures.
Who We’re Looking For:
- Experience: Experience working with children (experience with autism is a significant plus!).
- Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor’s or Master’s degree preferred.
- Certification: Willingness to obtain your BCAT credential within 90 days of your start date (Cortica provides all necessary training!).
- Travel: Ability to consistently travel between client sites within a 30–40-minute radius using reliable transportation.
- Tech-Savvy: Proficient with EMR systems and Microsoft Office tools.
