Counter Sales Representative at Ferguson

About the Role
The Counter Sales Representative plays a crucial role in assisting customers with their product needs and ensuring a smooth sales experience. This position is a great opportunity for individuals looking to start or grow their career within a supportive and dynamic environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide expert advice to customers, guiding them to the best products that fit their specific requirements.
- Efficiently process customer orders using our order management system.
- Operate cash registers accurately and adhere to established cash handling procedures.
- Prepare and stage orders for prompt customer pick-up.
- Maintain an organized and visually appealing store environment, ensuring merchandising standards are met.
- Restock merchandise and ensure products are placed in their designated areas.
- Uphold a safe working environment at all times, including the proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
Work Schedule:
This is a full-time position with hours from Monday to Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Compensation:
The starting pay for this role is $18.00 per hour and can be higher based on relevant experience. The estimated pay range for this position is $15.00 – $20.59 per hour. This role is eligible for bonus or incentive plans.

Required Skills and Experience:
- Experience: 0-3 years of experience preferred.
- Product Knowledge: Basic knowledge of products is preferred, but not strictly required.

- Physical Ability: Ability to lift, load, and deliver merchandise.
- Math Skills: General math skills for accurate cash accounting.
- Learning Agility: A strong ability and willingness to learn is a must-have.
