• Mission: Ensure an excellent guest experience by professionally serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages while adhering to all regulations and company standards.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Provide exceptional guest service by following bar pre-shift notes and menus, adhering to company standards for interaction and uniform.
• Serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in strict accordance with all proper procedures and state/federal regulations, including consistently verifying guest IDs and responsibly pouring drinks.
• Demonstrate knowledge of various beer, wine varieties, and spirits, utilizing this expertise to suggestively upsell products to guests.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary work station, ensuring all bar equipment is well-maintained, and performing other duties such as setting up, breaking down, and organizing coolers.
• Professionally manage guest interactions, actively listening to requests, de-escalating situations involving impaired guests, communicating cut-offs as needed, and contacting management or security for severe issues.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Current, valid Alcohol Safety training certificate issued by an approved South Carolina State Vendor.
• Experience: Six months or more of previous bartending experience.
• Skills: Demonstrated ability to prioritize tasks effectively in a fast-paced environment; Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to be self-directed while contributing positively to a team-oriented environment; Availability to work a flexible schedule including nights, weekends, and long hours, as business needs dictate.
