Role Summary

As an Applebee’s Carside team member, you will play a crucial role in shaping our guests’ experience. You will be their first impression over the phone and their last impression as you deliver their carside or to-go orders with a welcoming smile. This role requires you to be friendly, proactive in making recommendations, and attentive to anticipating guest needs. While the work is engaging and fast-paced, you’re guaranteed to have a great time doing it!

Responsibilities

  • Effectively communicate with guests over the phone and in person.
  • Accurately take and deliver carside or to-go orders.
  • Provide excellent customer service, ensuring guest satisfaction.
  • Make recommendations to enhance the guest experience.
  • Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly.
  • Maintain a positive and friendly demeanor.

Requirements

  • Must be at least 18 years old.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with guests and team members.
  • Committed to making a positive impact on the guest experience.

Physical Standards

This role requires the ability to meet the following physical demands:

  • Ability to remain stationary and exert well-paced mobility for long periods, up to four (4) hours in length.
  • Safely reach, bend, stoop, and frequently lift up to 50 pounds.
  • Transport to-go bags and beverages to cars, weighing up to 15 pounds, approximately 30 times per shift (depending on business flow).
  • Speak clearly and listen attentively to guests and team members.
  • Ability to wear protective hand coverings throughout the entire shift.
  • Ability to work with disinfectant cleaning supplies throughout the entire shift.
  • Ability to wear protective face coverings and/or masks throughout the entire shift.
  • Ability to frequently wash hands with disinfecting soap throughout the shift.
