Role Description: Private Equity Intern (Unpaid & Remote)

This is an exciting opportunity for an ambitious individual to join Tigbourne Capital as an Unpaid & Remote Private Equity Intern. This role offers unparalleled hands-on experience within the dynamic high-tech investment landscape, specifically focusing on our proprietary EOR Oil Technologies project.

From day one, you will be an integral part of our team, gaining immediate exposure to industry experts and critical aspects of private equity operations. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting Due Diligence: Performing comprehensive research and analysis on potential investment opportunities, particularly within the global EOR sector, to assess their viability and risks.
  • Analyzing Investment Opportunities: Evaluating market trends, financial models, and strategic fit for potential investments in EOR technologies, contributing to informed decision-making.
  • Assisting in Outreach & Partnerships: Supporting the team in identifying and engaging with potential strategic partners and investors for our innovative “green oil finance deal” related to EOR. This involves proactive communication and relationship building.
  • Exposure to Industry Experts: Gaining direct access and the ability to connect with leading professionals and thought leaders in the private equity and EOR industries, fostering valuable networking opportunities.

This internship provides a unique platform to develop a strong foundational understanding of private equity operations, investment analysis, and market engagement within specialized high-tech niches.

Qualifications

We are seeking a highly motivated and skilled individual who possesses the following attributes:

  • Strong Analytical Skills & Finance Knowledge: A solid understanding of financial principles, corporate finance, and the ability to critically analyze complex data.
  • Experience in Investments & Due Diligence: Prior exposure to investment analysis, market research, or due diligence processes, demonstrating an aptitude for evaluating business opportunities.
  • Strong Interpersonal & Sales Skills: Excellent ability to communicate effectively, build rapport, and articulate value propositions to potential partners and investors.
  • Strong Research & Quantitative Skills: Proficiency in conducting in-depth market research, data analysis, and developing quantitative models.
  • Excellent Written Communication: The ability to convey complex information clearly, concisely, and persuasively in written reports and correspondence.
  • Ability to Work Independently and in a Team: Demonstrates self-motivation, initiative, and the capacity to collaborate effectively within a remote team environment.
