What You’ll Do as a Market Development Specialist

Your day will be full of energy, connection, and opportunity. In this role, you will:

  • Start your day by hitting the road—on foot or by car—exploring your assigned territory.
  • Introduce local businesses to the comprehensive range of products and services W.B. Mason has to offer.
  • Utilize a consultative mindset to meet with potential clients, uncover their specific needs, and demonstrate how our full suite of workplace products can streamline their operations.
  • Demo products, share valuable web tools, and offer custom pricing solutions tailored to client requirements.
  • Assist new customers in getting set up through our user-friendly MasonvilleGO platform.
  • Work closely with inside sales and our onboarding teams to ensure every new account is smoothly transitioned and well taken care of.
  • Participate in regular branch sales meetings to stay connected, supported, and to further grow your market and your outside sales career.

What We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

To succeed in this Market Development Specialist position, we are looking for individuals with:

  • Experience in customer service, retail sales, or similar client-facing roles.
  • Outstanding communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • The ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • A self-motivated attitude with the ability to work independently and drive results.
  • Proficiency to converse, read, and write fluently in English.
  • Physical ability to lift and move up to 25 lbs as needed.
