Internship Opportunity Details

We are actively seeking candidates for 10 exclusive internship positions. Each intern position will be thoughtfully tailored to align with your specific degree program and areas of interest within the bank, ensuring a meaningful and relevant experience. Potential opportunities may be available in various departments, including:

• Customer Service
• Lending
• Finance
• Marketing
• Operations

Key Program Dates (Anticipated for 2026)

• Application Period: March 2, 2026 – April 6, 2026
• Target Start Date: May 18, 2026
• Program End Date: Conclusion of the December 2026 school year

Key Responsibilities

As an intern with Trustco Bank, you will be expected to:

• Perform various tasks and projects assigned by your supervisor, gaining invaluable hands-on experience in your designated area.
• Diligently learn and apply bank policies and procedures.
• Work collaboratively and effectively with team members across departments.
• Actively participate in training and professional development activities.
• Consistently meet deadlines and maintain a high level of accuracy in all assignments.
• Contribute to a positive, productive, and engaging work environment.

Compensation & Schedule

• Hourly Rate: Starting at $18.00 per hour
• Work Schedule: We offer flexible part-time or full-time options. A minimum commitment of 10-15 hours per week is required.

Who We’re Looking For (Qualifications)

To be considered for this exciting opportunity, applicants must meet the following criteria:

• Currently enrolled in a degree program at an accredited college or university.
• Possess a strong academic record.
• Demonstrate excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work both independently and effectively as part of a team.
• Exhibit strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• A genuine and strong interest in the financial services industry.
