Our unique structure comprises eleven distinct and autonomous investment teams, each specializing in multiple fundamental strategies within the equity space. We are currently seeking highly motivated and talented MBA candidates for our Summer 2026 Internship Program, with multiple investment teams looking to host interns.

Job Title: MBA Summer Intern

Location: New York, NY | San Francisco, CA | Milwaukee, WI

Internship Duration: This paid internship program will run for approximately 10 weeks during the Summer of 2026.

Role Overview:

Artisan Partners is looking for a highly motivated, detail-oriented MBA candidate possessing strong analytical and technical abilities to provide essential support to our diverse investment teams. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a dynamic investment environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Evaluate Potential Investments: Conduct in-depth analysis of a firm’s business model, assess its competitive positioning within its industry, and evaluate the long-term secular trends impacting the industry.
• Primary Research: Collaborate closely with multiple investment professionals on the team to execute comprehensive primary research initiatives.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills and meticulous attention to detail. Additionally, the ideal candidate will possess:

• Academic Enrollment: Currently enrolled in an MBA program.
• Financial Acumen: An understanding and keen interest in cash flow modeling.
• Proactive Work Ethic: A high degree of self-motivation and the ability to effectively set priorities and manage tasks independently.
• Critical Thinking: Capacity for differentiated thinking and a fresh perspective.
• Integrity: Upholding the highest personal and professional integrity and ethics.
• Communication & Collaboration: A good communicator capable of working both independently and collaboratively within a team environment.
• Quantitative Skills: Demonstrated quantitative and statistical ability.
• Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.

Compensation:

Salary: $14,000 per month

Specific placement within this provided range will be determined by an individual’s geographic location (New York, NY; San Francisco, CA; or Milwaukee, WI), as well as their relevant experience and skills pertinent to the role. It is important to note that the base salary constitutes only one component of our total compensation package. Associates may also be eligible for a discretionary bonus, which is determined based on both Firm and individual performance.
