About the Role & Program

Disney’s Direct-to-Consumer (DTC) team, encompassing Hulu, Disney+, and ESPN, is actively seeking a highly intuitive and self-driven intern to join the Marketing Investment Analytics team. This specialized unit within the broader Marketing Analytics team is dedicated to providing Marketing and Finance teams with crucial historical insights, identifying strategic opportunities, and developing effective strategies and tactics for optimization. As an intern, you will play a vital role in this dynamic environment.

What You Will Do

As an intern with Disney DTC, you’ll be involved in a variety of exciting projects designed to challenge and significantly develop your skillsets within a fast-paced digital media landscape. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Collaborating closely with key stakeholders across Marketing, Marketing Science, Data Engineering, and Data Product teams.
  • Focusing on providing robust support for marketing investment analytics measurement tools, documentation, and delivering key business insights essential for propelling DTC business growth.
  • Leveraging AI technologies to enhance our analytics capabilities and create innovative solutions. You will be a crucial contributor to the AI evolution of our team’s tools, techniques, and methodologies.
  • Co-creating with AI in facilitating several crucial team tasks, including:
    • Automating measurements.
    • Contextualizing data for deeper understanding.
    • Interpreting and conducting analyses more efficiently.
    • Deriving clear narratives for our stakeholders to empower effective decision-making.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • 1+ years of hands-on analytical work/project experience.
  • Familiarity with data platforms and applications such as Snowflake, Databricks, Jupyter, Google Sheets or Excel, and Adobe Analytics.
  • Strong motivation to work in media and an ability to learn quickly from questions as well as experiences.
  • Experience in manipulating large data sets, interpreting data trends, and utilizing a multitude of disparate data sources and tools.
  • Familiarity with documenting the data requirements, data strategy, and data rules (standardization, cleanse, and validation).
  • Strong analytical and technical skills to troubleshoot issues, analyze causes, quickly propose possible solutions, document changes, and communicate organizational impact.
  • Familiarity with data exploration and data visualization tools like Tableau or Looker, and the ability to share a portfolio of clear, intuitive, and insightful visualizations.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • A collaborative teammate who is also a self-starter and can work independently.
  • Strong interest in marketing analytics and media measurement.

Preferred Qualifications & Skills

  • Proficiency with advanced SQL, basic Python/R, Tableau, and Looker.
  • Familiarity/competency in data science topics such as statistics, optimization, and/or econometrics.
  • Certification(s) in AI, machine learning, or relevant cloud platforms.
  • Familiarity with Disney business domain knowledge.
  • Ability to identify and appropriately call out issues to leadership.

Education

Currently enrolled as a student pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field.

Eligibility Requirements & Program Information

Candidates for this opportunity MUST meet all the requirements below:

  • Be enrolled in an accredited college/university taking at least one class in the semester/quarter (spring/fall) prior to participation in the internship program OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship.
  • Current Disney Interns, College, International, or Culinary Program Participants: You may only work for ONE consecutive year (12 months) in any combination of an internship and/or program.
  • Be at least 18 years of age.
  • Possess unrestricted work authorization.

Additional Information

  • The approximate dates of this position are May/June 2026 through August/September 2026.
  • Able to provide/have reliable transportation to/from work.
  • Fully available from Monday-Friday for the duration of the position, 40 hours per week.
