Kohler Intern – Finance | Kohler Co.

The Tone:
This is an onsite internship at Kohler Co., located in Kohler, WI, requiring 4 days a week of in-person work for a term from May 2027 through August 2027. Kohler Co. designs its Early Talent internship programs to provide meaningful, hands-on experiences that drive real business impact across its organization. Over the course of 10–12 weeks, interns are immersed in the business, contributing to real projects, building practical skills, and gaining valuable exposure. This finance internship is crucial for early-career finance talent to step into the business, contribute to understanding performance, analyze trends, evaluate tradeoffs, and tell the story behind the numbers in ways that support better business decisions for the company. The program is intentionally designed to build a strong pipeline of talent for future full-time opportunities, including Leadership Development Programs and direct hire roles.

What You’ll Actually Do
• Financial Analysis: Prepare financial reporting, analysis, and comprehensive project work that provides leaders with clear insights into business performance, enabling them to make informed decisions.
• Business Partnering: Collaborate closely with various finance and business teams to thoroughly analyze trends, identify critical insights, and translate complex data into practical, actionable recommendations that drive results.
• Project Support: Provide essential support for business cases, detailed investment analysis, process improvement initiatives, or strategic projects that align directly with Kohler’s overarching priorities and goals.
• Skill Development: Actively build and enhance technical finance capabilities through hands-on experience with a variety of tools, data manipulation, comprehensive reporting practices, and advanced analytical techniques.
• Presentation & Growth: Present project outcomes, key findings, and strategic recommendations to senior finance leaders and relevant stakeholders. Additionally, engage in dedicated internship programming, mentorship, networking, and cohort experiences designed to support significant personal and professional growth, exploring future career opportunities like the Finance Leadership Development Program.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Actively enrolled in an accredited institution pursuing a degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field. A focus from an AACSB-accredited university is preferred.
• Experience: Must be legally authorized to work in the United States on an ongoing basis without company sponsorship.
• Skills: Strong collaboration, problem-solving, and learning agility, particularly in team-based environments.
• Bonus: Demonstrated initiative, curiosity, and accountability through academic, internship, or extracurricular experiences.
