Responsibilities

The Loss Prevention Intern will provide essential support to the Loss Prevention (LP) team, gaining hands-on experience in both physical security and investigative procedures. Key responsibilities include:

• Assisting with the deployment, activation, and maintenance of closed-circuit television (CCTV) and alarm systems across Spirit Halloween and Spencer’s locations.
• Gaining direct exposure to real LP investigations, learning practical techniques and methodologies.
• Supporting various locksmith functions and understanding their role in corporate security.
• Contributing to daily security operations, developing a unique and practical skillset essential for a future career in asset protection or corporate security.

Preferred Majors

Candidates pursuing the following academic paths are highly encouraged to apply:

Qualifications

To be eligible for this internship, candidates must meet the following criteria:

• Enrollment in college for the upcoming semester is required.
• Successful completion of your sophomore year by the start of the internship.
• Graduate students are also welcome and encouraged to apply.
• Must reside within commutable distance to our Home Office in Egg Harbor Township, NJ.

Pay Range

The pay range for this role reflects the potential hourly rate. Individual base pay is ultimately determined by various factors such as relevant experience and skills, as well as the scope and responsibilities of the position.
