### Role & Responsibilities

As a Landscape Architect intern, you will actively work on a diverse array of project types, including:
• Streetscapes
• Development Site Plans
• Park Projects

Your role will involve the consistent utilization of industry-standard software, such as CAD/LandFX and various 3D modeling platforms. To provide a comprehensive understanding of installations and the construction process, construction and project site visits will be planned during the 3-month internship. These practical experiences will offer invaluable insights into the profession, collaborative teamwork, and the critical skill of serving our clients’ needs.

### Requirements

Technical Skills:
• Must be computer literate in:
• AutoCAD/LandFX
• Adobe Suite (e.g., Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
• Microsoft Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
• 3D rendering programs such as Sketchup are recommended.

Teamwork & Communication:
• Ability to work effectively within a landscape architecture team.
• Will report directly to the head of the team, located in Des Moines.
• Possess good interpersonal, written, and verbal communication skills.

Work Ethic & Professionalism:
• Exhibits accuracy, attention to detail, and strong organizational skills.
• A general understanding of the field of landscape architecture and the ability to collaborate across discipline boundaries to support the delivery of solutions that meet client expectations is essential for success in this position.

• 3+ years as a student of an accredited landscape architecture degree/program.
