As a Civil Construction Engineering Intern, you will work alongside Benesch’s dedicated Construction Engineering professionals who deliver high-quality solutions for infrastructure projects. This role focuses on supporting the inspection and documentation of road, water main, and sewer construction projects.

This internship offers invaluable hands-on field experience, exposure to construction observation, project documentation, and the unique opportunity to learn directly from experienced engineers and project managers.

Location

This internship is field-based, with opportunities to collaborate on active projects and receive mentorship from Project Engineers and Project Managers in Michigan.


What You Will Need

  • Pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil or Construction Engineering from an ABET-accredited university (EIT preferred)
  • Experience working on field projects a plus
  • Familiarity with ArcGIS, MicroStation, GeoPak, and/or AutoCAD is desirable
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational skills with the ability to work efficiently within budgets and schedules
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and in a team environment
  • Valid driver’s license and good driving record
