A Day in the Life of a Summer Intern / Key Responsibilities
The summer architectural and interior design interns will work on a variety of challenging assignments across all project phases, from conceptual design through construction documentation. In this role, interns will work in a collaborative, hands-on environment and be exposed to a wide range of design experiences. Interns will:
- Contribute to diverse projects across various practice areas.
- Engage in different project phases from start to finish.
- Work collaboratively with experienced design professionals.
- Gain practical, real-world experience in an architectural/interior design firm.
Qualifications & Requirements
First and foremost, we want you to be curious & creative. This is an excellent opportunity to learn, grow, and contribute in a diverse environment, and we encourage you to utilize this experience to learn as much as possible!
- Education: Completed at least your second year of undergraduate study in an accredited Architecture or Interior Design program.
- Technical Skills: Familiarity with industry software, including:
- Autodesk Revit
- Microsoft Office Suite
- Adobe Creative Suite
- Soft Skills & Attributes:
- Demonstrated innovative design solutions.
- Excellent time management skills.
- Ability to absorb new concepts quickly.
- Clear communication skills.
- Ability to work both collaboratively and independently.
- Strong desire to produce good design.
- Experience: Previous internship experience in an architectural firm is preferred, but not required.
