University, 2026 Summer Games Systems Engineering Intern

Job Number: R0225531

The Opportunity:

The Summer Games is an innovative internship program designed to attract the nation’s brightest students. Its primary goal is to foster the development of breakthrough ideas or solutions for some of our customers’ most pressing, complex, and multidimensional challenges, all while interns acquire invaluable technical skills. This highly competitive and collaborative program receives thousands of applicants annually.

Simulating a real-world startup accelerator environment, interns are organized into teams, each tasked with a distinct challenge project. Throughout the program, interns benefit from mentorship provided by senior leaders, learn to solve problems utilizing Booz Allen’s proprietary products and unique engagement models, and harness the power of collaboration within a team setting.

The summer experience culminates in a highly anticipated final Challenge Cup competition and presentation to senior leadership. Previous successes include a winning team that addressed the challenge of enabling blind individuals to navigate using new technology, coupled with the development of a comprehensive business and market penetration plan. Other teams have contributed to developing an application that provides military commanders with real-time, open-source information on developing situations, including sudden attacks, fighting human trafficking, and even tracking the global spread of diseases.
