BMW Finance Intern – International Regional Financial Steering

About the Role:

You will be an integral part of the International Regional Financial Steering Department of Region Americas, contributing to key financial initiatives and objectives. This role is designed to provide comprehensive learning and training, fostering significant growth and experience, while simultaneously helping the company achieve its internal goals, targets, and KPIs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the Finance team’s initiatives and key department objectives.
  • Learn BMW financial processes to help steer the organization, drive efficiencies, and implement cost-saving measures.
  • Perform Financial Data Analysis.
  • Contribute to Forecasting & Monthly Reporting.
  • Assist in the Creation of Management Presentations.
  • Support the further development of financial reporting tools.
  • Facilitate team meetings.
  • Maintain the Financial intranet site and communication channels.
  • Implement efficiencies and digitalization within current financial processes.
  • Create comprehensive training & process documentation.
  • Develop tools used for reporting and maintain system applications for financial metrics and data (e.g., MS Applications, Oracle, PowerBI, APEX).

Qualifications:

  • Possess a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 (not just in major).
  • Enrolled student status at an accredited four-year college or university in the United States.
  • Completed at least 30 credit hours at the time of application.
  • Ability to work full-time on-site (40 hours/week).
  • Transfer students must have a GPA from their current university.
  • MUST ATTACH A COPY OF UNOFFICIAL TRANSCRIPT with your application.
  • Complete and pass a substance abuse test before the work term begins.
