About the Job:

The NAA internship is designed to provide aspiring young professionals with hands-on experience in the aviation industry. Interns will benefit from planned rotations in each of our key departments, including:

• Airport Operations
• FBO Services
• Finance and Administration
• Leasing
• Airport Development
• Community Relations
• Human Resources

The primary goal is to equip students with practical skills and knowledge that will enhance their career prospects in aviation and related fields.

What You’ll Do:

The Naples Airport Authority offers a paid internship, providing the opportunity to work with knowledgeable and experienced professionals on assignments critical to airport operations. Interns will have the opportunity to:

• Complete departmental projects
• Attend networking events and organizational meetings
• Participate in job shadowing activities
• Serve as a member of the NAA team in various capacities

The program is designed to be flexible and may be adjusted to accommodate individual interests and goals, assuming changes can be accommodated by airport staff.

Requirements:

• Availability: Must be available to work in-person at the Naples Airport Authority from May to August for at least eight weeks. The schedule is part-time (typically Tuesdays-Thursdays), for an average of 24 hours per week. The intern must be available for the entire duration of the program.
• Education: Must be 18 years of age or older, a high school graduate, and currently enrolled or planning to be enrolled in an undergraduate degree program with an accredited college or university.
• Academic Standing: Have a competitive GPA and be in good academic standing.
• Application Material: Submit a Resume that includes your goals and objectives for the program.
• Technical Skills: Comprehensive knowledge of Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Soft Skills: Be a self-starter, innovative thinker, able to multitask, with effective communication skills. Interns will be required to prepare reports and engage with team members and stakeholders.
• Screening: Must successfully complete the NAA pre-employment background and drug screening requirements.

Competitive Salary: The hourly intern rate of pay is $20.00.
