As an Application Development and Engineering Intern, you will play a vital role in building innovative solutions that directly impact our organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Actively contribute to the development and maintenance of web and desktop applications, leveraging modern frameworks and cutting-edge technologies.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams, including business analysts and product owners, to gather comprehensive requirements and translate them into robust technical specifications and elegant solutions.
  • Write clean, scalable, efficient, and well-documented code, adhering strictly to established coding standards and best practices to ensure maintainability and performance.
  • Participate actively in all phases of the development process, including diligent code reviews, comprehensive testing, and meticulous debugging, to ensure the highest quality of software delivery.
  • Support the seamless deployment and integration of applications into production environments, working with our operations teams to ensure smooth transitions.
  • Proactively research and recommend new tools, technologies, and innovative best practices in software development to continually enhance our team’s capabilities and efficiency.
  • Create clear and concise documentation for processes, workflows, and technical solutions, ensuring knowledge transfer and future scalability.
  • Successfully complete a capstone internship project, culminating in a presentation of your work, findings, and contributions to our leadership team and fellow colleagues at the program’s conclusion.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a closely related technical field.
  • Must be a junior at the time of application.
  • A minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0 is required.
  • Familiarity with foundational programming languages and concepts, with exposure to specific technologies such as C#, and integration tools like Azure Data Factory and SSIS.
  • Understanding of core web technologies, including HTML, CSS, REST APIs, and an interest in UI/UX design tools like Figma or component libraries like Kendo UI.
  • Exposure to popular development frameworks such as React and .NET is a significant plus.
  • Basic knowledge of database management systems, including SQL fundamentals, and experience with platforms like SQL Server or Azure SQL.
  • Basic knowledge of version control systems, particularly GitHub, for collaborative development.
  • Basic knowledge of job scheduling tools such as Active Batch.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, with an analytical mindset and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration abilities, with the capacity to articulate technical concepts clearly and work effectively within a team.

Compensation:
