McConnell Golf Creative Media Internship – Summer 2026

McConnell Golf is actively seeking a Creative Media Intern for the Summer 2026 season. This internship offers a unique opportunity for undergraduate or graduate students to gain hands-on storytelling experience through photography, videography, and social media initiatives within the dynamic golf and hospitality industry.

In this pivotal role, you will work closely with McConnell Golf’s Creative Director, contributing significantly to capturing captivating photo and video content across various McConnell Golf properties. Your responsibilities will include editing content for both digital and print platforms, ultimately helping to elevate and strengthen the McConnell Golf brand presence.

Internship Details:

Location: Raleigh, NC (Raleigh Country Club)
Length of Internship: Mid-May to Mid-August 2026
Hours: 3 – 4 days a week, 18 – 24 hours per week
Pay: $16.00 / hour

Key Responsibilities:

• Capture compelling photo and video content at McConnell Golf properties and events.
• Develop innovative ideas for engaging video and photo content tailored for social media platforms.
• Edit and produce both short-form and long-form video content that effectively tells the story of McConnell Golf and its diverse properties.
• Conduct interviews with McConnell Golf members or employees to gather content for various projects.
• Provide comprehensive assistance to the McConnell Golf Creative Director, including support for photo and video shoots, video editing, photo organization, and other assigned projects.
• While most work will occur during standard business hours, some evening or weekend work may be required to cover events.

Qualifications:

• Candidate must be an undergraduate or graduate student actively pursuing a degree in Multimedia, Communications, Marketing, or a closely related field.
• Demonstrated proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, particularly Premiere Pro, After Effects, and Lightroom.
• Strong foundational knowledge of photography and videography principles.
• Familiarity with various photography and videography equipment, including cameras, tripods, microphones, lighting setups, and other essential gear.
• Possession of a strong independent work ethic and proven creative thinking abilities.
