PBR (Professional Bull Riders) is the world’s premier bull riding organization. It hosts over 200 events annually, featuring more than 1,000 bull riders across various tours including the televised PBR Unleash The Beast (UTB), PBR Pendleton Whisky Velocity Tour (PWVT), PBR Touring Pro Division (TPD), and international circuits in Australia, Brazil, and Canada. In 2022, PBR launched the nationally televised PBR Teams league (expanding to 10 teams in 2024) and the PBR Challenger Series. Digital assets include PBR RidePass on Pluto TV. Department: Corporate Partnerships

The Corporate Partnerships team is crucial for building, supporting, and growing relationships with PBR’s sponsors and partners. This team works in close collaboration with the PBR Sales team to support revenue generation and partners with the Partnership Marketing team to ensure the effective execution of sponsor programs. The team regularly collaborates with various cross-functional teams across PBR to manage partner agreements, support sales efforts, and deliver significant value to sponsors. Their work is pivotal in connecting PBR’s business goals with strong, long-term partner relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Support partner contracts, including drafting, review, and tracking key deliverables.
  • Help identify and support cross-marketing and partnership opportunities.
  • Assist with CRM management and reporting.
  • Coordinate across Corporate Partnerships, Legal, Accounting, Marketing, and PR teams to ensure smooth workflow.
  • Support Partnership Marketing and business development efforts, including reporting, ticketing, event communications, logistics, and partnership research.

  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs: Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.

Program Details

This internship is part of a broader program offering opportunities across IMG, On Location, Professional Bull Riders (PBR), TKO Corporate, UFC, and WWE. Locations include New York City, Atlanta, Austin, Raleigh, Dallas, Fort Worth, Las Vegas, and Stamford, CT. All internships are in the office and in-person, unless explicitly noted otherwise.

In addition to gaining hands-on experience and exposure to the global sports and entertainment industry, interns will participate in various events such as welcome/farewell sessions, a speaker series featuring company leaders, and career training workshops covering topics from LinkedIn profile enhancement to resume building, interviewing skills, and networking.

Internships require 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, aligning with standard local working hours in the intern location.

Important Dates

  • By January 30th: Internships are posted to career sites.
  • February 28th: Applications will be accepted through this date.
  • March 1st to March 27th: Recruiters will contact candidates and begin the interview process.
  • March 30th to April 17th: Offers will be extended to selected candidates.
  • May 18th: Program start date.
  • The program will be 12 weeks in length (May 18th through August 7th).

Recruitment Process

Our process consists of four distinct steps:

  4. Offer or Decline: If selected for the position, a recruiter will call to extend an offer. If you have not been selected, a recruiter will reach out to inform you.

Eligibility

Our program is designed for rising juniors, rising seniors, and those within six months of graduation from an undergraduate university, unless otherwise noted.
