Job Title: Business Development Intern (Five Verticals)

Location: Jasonville Office (Housing Accommodations Provided)

Role Summary:

We are seeking dedicated Business Development Interns for each of our five specialized verticals: Healthcare, Commercial Technology & Industrial (CT&I), Working Capital, Industrial Retail, and Office Equipment. This role offers a unique opportunity to directly support our sales and business development teams in identifying new market opportunities, building crucial client relationships, and significantly contributing to the growth of PEAC Solutions. The successful candidates will gain invaluable hands-on experience in prospecting, market research, and mastering essential sales techniques vital for a thriving career in the equipment leasing and financial services industry. To ensure a comprehensive and productive experience, housing accommodations will be provided for the duration of the internship at our Jasonville office.

Essential Functions:

  • Assist in identifying and thoroughly researching potential business opportunities and leads.
  • Help prepare compelling presentations and sales materials for meetings with prospective clients.
  • Support the sales team in nurturing client relationships, including providing administrative assistance as needed.
  • Maintain and meticulously update the CRM system with accurate client and prospect information.
  • Conduct in-depth market research and analysis to identify emerging trends and strategic opportunities.
  • Actively participate in sales meetings and assist with crucial follow-up activities.
  • Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment on business strategies and goals.

Qualifications:

  • Currently pursuing a degree in Business, Marketing, Finance, or a closely related field.
  • Demonstrated strong interest in sales and business development within the financial services industry.
  • Excellent communication and strong interpersonal skills, capable of building rapport.
  • Ability to work both independently with initiative and effectively as part of a collaborative team.
  • Strong organizational skills and exceptional attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) is required.
  • Experience with CRM systems is a plus.
  • Prior internship or work experience in sales or business development is preferred.
