Job Title: Intern (Human Services-related field)

Responsibilities:

  • Provide skills-based services to assist clients and families in meeting identified goals (e.g., coping skills education, parenting skills training).
  • Work with children, adolescents, and/or adults, as assigned.
  • Link families to community resources based on their needs.
  • Collaborate with other Georgia HOPE/HCA staff and community partners to ensure effective treatment, service provision, and case collaboration.
  • Document case notes meticulously in the online electronic medical record system (CareLogic).
  • Attend regular team meetings.
  • Attend agency trainings, as needed.

Qualifications (Intern Position Requirements):

  • Currently working towards a Bachelor’s degree in a Human Services-related field.
  • Possess basic computer skills, including familiarity with using the internet and Microsoft Word.
  • Ability to navigate the online electronic medical record system (CareLogic).
  • Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently.
  • Ability to function as a valuable member of a multi-disciplinary treatment team and work cooperatively with other agency employees.
  • Commitment to conducting oneself professionally and ethically with clients, co-workers, and community partners.
