Internship Overview

The Kratos Space Training and Cyber Division is seeking a paid, summer Intern for its Marketing Department based in Herndon, VA to assist with marketing and administrative tasks.

This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain professional work experience and get exposed to many functions of the Marketing Department, while obtaining the opportunity to work with various web-based systems. This is a paid internship.

Key Responsibilities & Learning Opportunities

As a Marketing Intern, you will gain hands-on experience in the following areas:

• Planning and execution of tradeshows and events.
• Data administration.
• Management of social media channels: Twitter, LinkedIn, YouTube.
• Accounting tasks related to marketing activities.
• Podcasting support.
• Copy editing for various marketing materials.

Experience And Skills Required

We are looking for an enthusiastic and driven individual who meets the following criteria:

• Seeking a Bachelor’s degree from an accredited University or College.
• Strong writing and communication skills.
• Must have strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Knowledge of Web-based technology and social media.
• Strong organizational and time management skills.
• Strong MS Office applications skills to include, Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Experience with social media preferred.
• Ability to work effectively in a team effort.
• Energy, enthusiasm, and strong desire to learn.

Compensation
