Interns will receive hands-on, practical business training and experience, deepening their understanding of crucial areas such as sales techniques, research strategies, and the essential behind-the-scenes responsibilities involved in bringing an industry-leading product to market.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in extensive sales training, covering crucial aspects like pre-call planning, analytical techniques, and effective presentation preparation.
• Actively prospect potential new clients during dedicated weekly prospecting sessions.
• Manage inbound phone calls from prospective companies interested in exploring the Paycom solution.
• Generate accurate quotes for inbound leads using our proprietary database.
• Collaborate effectively with your office sales manager, intern program manager, and the broader sales team to observe and understand the entire sales cycle from inception to close.
• Rigorously track all sales activities including prospecting efforts, leads generated, scheduled meetings, and daily operational tasks.
• Actively participate in weekly professional development and sales training sessions designed to enhance your skills.
• Travel to the local Paycom sales office and surrounding areas for in-person sales meetings, necessitating reliable personal transportation.
