Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure Health and Safety is the number one priority by complying with all safe work practices, policies, and processes, and acting in a safe manner at all times.
  • Receive all containers, verify counts and sizes of received loads, and properly code all waste for disposal processing.
  • Sample all incoming drums and perform basic analysis of samples following prescribed procedures.
  • Sort through batteries and consolidate all alkaline batteries for disposal.
  • Confirm that all drums are properly and accurately coded for routing and billing according to protocol.
  • Ensure all drums are assigned the proper disposal process and/or outbound profile.
  • Move drums from staging area to proper facility storage areas.
  • Complete all associated paperwork and ensure that all work meets applicable QA/QC guidelines.
  • Maintain a safe working environment that complies with all applicable OSHA regulations as well as all applicable company Health & Safety and Compliance protocols.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School diploma or equivalent required.
  • Age Requirement: Must be 18 years or older.
  • Experience: 1+ years of related experience.
  • Forklift Experience: Preferred (Not Required).
  • Computer Skills: Ability to use a computer.
  • Physical Requirements: Ability to lift 50 or more pounds.
