Job Title: Wholesale Sales Intern

About Barrière:

Barrière is a growing wellness brand specializing in clean, effective transdermal vitamin patches designed to protect and nourish. As we expand our wholesale business, we are seeking a motivated individual to help us build relationships with retail partners and grow our market footprint.

Internship Details:

  • Type: Paid Internship
  • Duration: 6 months
  • Hours: 15-20 hours/week
  • Location: NYC-based (in-office; candidates open to relocating are also encouraged to apply)
  • Start Date: April / May 2026

About the Role:

We are looking for a curious and motivated Wholesale Sales Intern to join our team. You don’t need prior wholesale experience – just an interest in learning, a willingness to ask questions, and excitement about the beauty/wellness space. This is a hands-on opportunity at a fast-moving brand where your contributions will genuinely make an impact.

What You’ll Work On (Key Responsibilities):

As part of our sales team, you will gain real exposure to the day-to-day operations of wholesale sales, including:

  • Prospecting & Research: Help identify and reach out to potential retail partners across various categories and regions, actively supporting our wholesale growth initiatives.
  • CRM & Organization: Maintain accurate wholesale contacts, notes, and sales records within Asana.
  • Follow-Ups & Outreach: Assist in tracking samples, managing email correspondence, and following up on conversations with potential stockists.
  • Sales Team Collaboration: Participate in weekly sales calls, share ideas, and learn how wholesale strategy is developed and executed.
  • Merchandising Support: Provide support to retail partners by checking in on inventory levels, product placement, and enhancing in-store visibility.

  • Experience using Photoshop and/or Illustrator to support deck creation.
