Technician Trainee Intern
About the Role: What To Expect
As a Technician Trainee Intern, you will play a crucial role in servicing customer vehicles and executing hands-on tasks at our service centers. This is a customer-facing position, requiring not only a strong team-player mentality but also excellent oral and written communication skills. Key Responsibilities: What You’ll Do
- Perform entry-level work in the inspection, repair, and service of Tesla electric vehicles.
- Operate a diverse range of hand, power, and shop tools efficiently and safely.
- Conduct equipment inspections, adjustments, and certifications.
- Perform Pre-Delivery Inspections (PDI) for new vehicles to ensure Tesla’s quality standards.
- Maintain accurate inventory records, track time spent on tasks, and manage shop supplies and parts.
- Assist in maintaining the cleanliness of customer vehicles.
- Provide support for Parts & Front of House operations, either as needed or on a rotational basis.
Qualifications: What You’ll Bring
- Possess knowledge of methods and techniques utilized in the maintenance and repair of vehicles.
- Current enrollment in an Automotive program is preferred.
- Must hold a valid driver’s license and be capable of reporting to training locations or local service centers as required.
- Ability to lift up to 60 pounds.
- A strong ability to work effectively in a team-based environment, coupled with a “safety first” attitude.
- Familiar understanding of the English language.
- Basic computer skills, including proficiency in navigating web browsers and using standard applications such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).

Expected Compensation
The compensation for this role is $25.00 – $25.00/hour, plus the aforementioned benefits. Please note that the pay offered may vary based on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also encompass other elements dependent on the specific offer.
