Strategic Finance & Analytics Intern (MBA Summer 2026)

About Airbnb

Airbnb was born in 2007 when two hosts welcomed three guests to their San Francisco home. Since then, it has grown to over 5 million hosts who have welcomed over 2 billion guest arrivals in almost every country across the globe. Every day, hosts offer unique stays and experiences that make it possible for guests to connect with communities in a more authentic way.

The Community You Will Join: Finance Organization

Airbnb is seeking MBA students to join the Finance organization as Strategic Finance & Analytics Interns for our 2026 Summer Intern Program. At Airbnb, we believe finance is about more than numbers — it’s about enabling strategy, growth, and connection across the business. Our Strategic Finance & Analytics (SFA) team partners with leaders across Airbnb to bring data-driven insights to life.

The broader Finance organization at Airbnb consists of distinct groups working on a diverse array of initiatives such as long-term strategic and financial planning, capital raising, financial and tax reporting, supplier management, construction of our office spaces, and more.

A Typical Day & The Impact You Will Make:

You’ll be integrated into a team where you’ll contribute to challenging projects. Your manager, team, and our incredible employee community will strive to be superhosts to you during the summer, providing support, mentorship, and real-world experience.

You can expect to:

  • Team up with colleagues from a wide variety of backgrounds and perspectives.
  • Communicate with stakeholders, providing regular updates and insights.

  • Identify and interpret trends and patterns based on business data and market knowledge.
  • Construct and present forecasts, recommendations, and strategic/tactical plans to stakeholders and leaders.
  • Create specifications for reports and analysis based on business needs and required or available data elements.

The exact project you work on during your internship will be dependent on the team you are placed in. You’ll have the opportunity to learn more about the work during the interview process.
