Job description
This role involves contributing to various aspects of project management and operational support, with a strong focus on learning and development within the company’s structure.
Key Responsibilities and Learning Opportunities:
• Engage in pre-job tasks and contribute actively to planning meetings.
• Participate in the analysis of reports and statistical data to optimize project outcomes.
• Ensure that project team members thoroughly understand contract terms and conditions, clauses, schedules, and any unique project requirements.
• Accompany superintendents on project quality walks.
• Attend various project team meetings to gain comprehensive insight into project progression.
• Acquire practical skills in human resources, compensation, and benefits, with specific assignments varying based on company needs.
• Learn the fundamentals of project costs, material tracking, project coordination, safety protocols, and managing submittals.
• Benefit from a hands-on, career-enhancing experience in the areas of compensation, human resources, and benefits.
Required Qualifications:
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s degree in a related field such as human resources or a similar discipline.
• Must be a Junior or Senior student at the college level.
• Maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
• Must be at least 18 years of age.
• Eligible to work 40 hours (or more) per week.
• Possess excellent computer skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Must be team-oriented with outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
