About The Role: Operations Intern
Kuvare Corporate Management, a prominent provider of life insurance and annuities, is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operations Intern. This role is designed to provide comprehensive support across various operational tasks, process improvement initiatives, and cross-functional collaboration within the organization. It’s an excellent opportunity for individuals keen to gain practical, hands-on experience in the life insurance industry, with a focus on back-office operations, process management, and customer service within a dynamic business setting.
Key Responsibilities (What You’ll Do):
• Operational Support: Provide assistance with daily operational activities, including the administration of insurance policies, data entry, and ensuring the accuracy of customer records.
• Process Improvement: Actively seek out and identify opportunities to enhance efficiency within existing workflow processes and contribute to the implementation of new systems or improvements.
• Documentation and Reporting: Prepare and update essential operational documents, various reports, and procedural manuals. Additionally, assist in maintaining meticulous documentation crucial for audits and compliance.
• Cross-Departmental Coordination: Collaborate closely with other key departments such as underwriting, claims, and customer service to streamline communication channels and effectively resolve any operational challenges.
• Data Analysis: Support the operations team by assisting in the collection, analysis, and reporting of data, which aids in informed decision-making processes.
• Customer Service Support: Offer back-office assistance for customer inquiries and issue resolution, ensuring that all customer interactions are handled with efficiency and professionalism.
• Special Projects: Participate in and contribute to special projects assigned by the Operations Manager. These projects may encompass research, strategy development, or new business initiatives.
Qualifications:
• Currently enrolled as an undergraduate student at an institution, maintaining an excellent academic record.
• A demonstrated and genuine interest in business operations.
• Possesses the ability to thrive and perform effectively in a fast-paced work environment.
• A quick learner, capable of rapidly acquiring new knowledge and taking on new responsibilities.
• Exhibits excellent finance skills and possesses sound accounting knowledge.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential.
• Demonstrates strong organizational skills; is self-motivated and team-oriented.
• Proficiency with key software including Bloomberg, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint is required.
• A strong results orientation, coupled with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced setting.
• The capacity to learn quickly and adapt to new responsibilities efficiently.
