Internship Program | LJV

The Tone:
This is an internship at LJV, located in Everett, Massachusetts. LJV Development is a solution-based construction management company that offers services ranging from renovation to design-build. The company utilizes tech-enabled processes to promote creativity and precise construction within a collaborative environment. This role offers interns direct involvement in day-to-day activities, working alongside a supervisor and team to learn the intricacies of construction projects and solve challenging client issues, providing tools and experience to develop a successful career.

• Type: Part-time (15-20 hours per week)
• Location: In-person, Everett, MA
• Pay: $15 hourly

What You’ll Actually Do
• Participate: Participate directly in day-to-day company activities and project tasks.
• Learn: Gain in-depth understanding of construction projects by working alongside a dedicated supervisor and team.
• Contribute: Support collaborative efforts aimed at resolving clients’ most challenging construction management issues.
• Apply: Implement academic knowledge and practical skills in diverse office and field assignments.
• Organize: Manage and prioritize numerous assigned tasks efficiently.

The Must-Haves
• Background: Currently enrolled student in an accredited bachelor’s or master’s degree program.
• Experience: Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Teams, Excel, Microsoft Project, Outlook, and Visio.
• Skills: Effective oral, presentational, and written communication.
• Skills: Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Skills: Ability to organize and prioritize numerous tasks.
