Job Title: Summer Intern – Events Team

Program Overview:
Join the Summer Internship Program within the Events team to gain practical, hands-on experience. Interns will play a crucial role in supporting the planning and execution of the 2026 User Conference, which is recognized as the world’s largest gathering of geospatial professionals, drawing more than 20,000 attendees. Interns will collaborate closely with experienced corporate events professionals and contribute to high-impact projects essential for the conference’s success.

Key Responsibilities and Projects:
Interns will be involved in a variety of projects, which may include:
Coordinating large-scale food and beverage programs for event attendees.
Assisting with the management of event content and agenda development.
Supporting sponsorship and exhibit programs, engaging with partners and exhibitors.
Managing various aspects of conference logistics.

Compensation:
The compensation for this internship role is $28-33 per hour.

Education and Other Requirements:

Majors Accepted: Students pursuing a degree in Business, Management, Management Consulting, Organization and Management, Public Relations, Accounting, Finance, Financial, Marketing, Media Sciences, Advertising, Economics, Communication, Sales, Actuarial, Management Information Systems, Risk Management, Supply Chain, Human Resources, Accountancy, Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Mathematics and Statistics, Mathematical Statistics, Quantitative Sciences, or Industrial Engineering.
Enrollment Status: Must currently be enrolled in a 4-year bachelor’s, master’s, or PhD program at a university in the United States.
Undergraduate Standing: Undergraduate applicants must be in their junior or senior year.
Internship Duration: Ability to complete a 12-week internship.
Start Date: The internship is scheduled to begin in May or June 2026.
Work Authorization: Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
Required Skills: Possess strong writing, communication, and research skills.
Preferred Experience: Experience with social media platforms is considered a plus.
